Beverly K. Wilson, RNC, BSN, FT, MA, LPC, PhD (candidate)

A registered nurse with experience in geriatric psychiatric nursing and a certification in maternal/newborn nursing care, Beverly is a licensed professional counselor, and the only Fellow in Thanatology in the State of Michigan. She has more than 16 years experience in the field of grief and loss. As adjunct professor at Spring Arbor University, Beverly teaches graduate level courses on grief and loss.
What does grief look like? How long does it last? Am I going crazy? When will the pain go away? Through appropriate support and education, these questions are explored in strictest confidence as grieving individuals learn how to help themselves.

Grief is not a mental illness - it is a normal reaction to an abnormal situation.

It's the way it is.
The way you cope with it is what makes the difference."
